Sylvester Fordoms serves as the Director of Real Estate Solutions Today, a corporation that is active in real estate acquisition, property management, sales, and 1031 exchanges throughout Central Florida.  While the initial focus of the company was Pinellas County, Sylvester has expanded the company's vision to include investment properties and entrepreneurial activities in Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Suwannee, Citrus and other counties.  

Prior to serving as the director of Real Estate Solutions Today, Sylvester enjoyed a rich and diverse corporate career.  Those corporate and personal experiences enable him to recognize opportunities that others may view as roadblocks, and to overcome the challenges that may hinder success.  He has held sales, analytical,  lending, and underwriting positions with Unum Life Insurance Company, Salomon Brothers,Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America.  Sylvester formerly served with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa Bay organization as both a mentor volunteer and as a member of the Board of Directors.  His accomplishments include; authoring several articles related to real estate investing, hosting a national monthly teleconference for real estate investors, appearing on Real Talk Financial TV Show with Larry Harbolt, and is one of fifteen "Life Time" members of Tampa Bay Real Estate Investment Association (TBREIA.com).

Mr. Fordoms is a former Marine Corps officer who obtained the rank of Captain.  During his service, he was stationed at The Basic School/TBS (Quantico, Virginia), The Naval Supply Corps School (Athens, Georgia), Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, (Cherry Point, North Carolina), and Naval Station Norfolk (Norfolk, Virginia).  He also served with distinction on board the USS Wasp (LHD-1) with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit - Special Operations Capable (MEUSOC), Landing Force Sixth Fleet (LF6F 2-91) including the operation Provide Comfort earning the following personal decorations: National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with star, and the Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal. 

Sylvester is a graduate of the prestigious Marine Military Academy preparatory school in Harlingen, Texas (1984), and both Florida State University (FSU) and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) (1989).  Born in Augusta, Georgia, Sylvester has resided in Clearwater, Florida since 1968 and considers Clearwater his hometown.
